Back To School

I started back at school last Tuesday and I have been flat out working ever since. I can tell the rest of the year is only going to be more stressful which I am really not looking forward to. I had an english assignment due this morning and I have a studies of religion one due soon as well as lots of homework and major works. I have an in class performance for music which is not assessed and then one that is in week 9. My timetable is also completely different this year which surprised me a fair bit especially since weeks A and B are completely different to each other.
I am still pretty lost with how to start on my textiles and art major works but I have a pretty rough list of songs I’m considering doing for my music performances (The list includes Green Eyes/God Put a Smile On My Face/Warning Sign by Coldplay, Flame Trees by Cold Chisel, On My Own by The Used, Running To The Edge of the World by Marilyn Manson and a number of others).
At least everything in my school bag is cute ^.^

City Adventures

Friday (27/1/12) I went into the city to see Jaya, Keelyn and Jess.
I had to get up at 6:40 as i was getting a lift into the city with dad but it was alright as I’d planned out what I was going to wear and had packed my bag the night before. We got into dad’s office in Pyrmont at about 7:45 and I kicked around there for a bit and had a coffee while browsing twitter and facebook on my phone. At about 8:30 I left to head towards Town Hall. I took the ‘scenic’ route through darling harbour to China Town as I had plenty of time to spare and the atmosphere there was lovely. I walked with one headphone in listening to Coldplay. I walked past the filming of Masterchef in front of the Chinese gardens which was weird, they all looked so serious. I ended up meeting Jaya outside Capitol building as he got off at Central station rather than Town Hall. After popping into a couple of shops we went to go have breakfast at Gloria Jeans. I had a chai latte and we shared a blueberry bagel (one of my personal favourite combinations of all time) and sat and talked for a fair while. We headed to kinokuniya after that and I had a bit of a squeeling session over all of the cute stationary, clay craft sets, issues of Kera, Popteen, Seventeen and Ageha and all the lovely art books. I wanted to get a magazine but I couldn’t decide which one although I was seriously tempted by the issue of seventeen with a free Liz Lisa bag I didn’t end up getting one because I am hopelessly indecisive. After leaving kinokuniya we went to Town Hall to meet up with Keelyn and Jess and then headed down to China Town. We had ramen at Ajisen ramen and I had a fried tofu ramen which was super nice. No one could finish theirs though (I wasn’t even very hungry to start with) which was a bit of a waste so we decided next time we go we’ll share. After lunch we went wandering through the markets and did a bit of browsing upstairs at market city. I bought a cute pom-pom on a gold chain loop to attach to my bag from little japan. I think next time I go there I’ll get some more little lunch boxes. We got easy way after and Keelyn chose 2 for us to share as I didn’t know what I wanted, we got a jasmine milk tea and a taro milk tea both with pearls. I couldn’t decide which one I liked better so we continued to switch with each other every couple of minutes. Afterwards we headed to Capitol building and I drooled a little bit over all the prizes in the claw machines. Jess had to leave so we said our goodbyes and then took some purikura.

After dividing up the purikura I got a call from dad saying he was ready to go so I should head back to his office so we said our goodbyes to Jaya and Keelyn and I started heading back to Darling Harbour but before even passing China Town I realised I’d left my umbrella at capitol and still had Jaya’s stuff in my bag so I had to call him and head back to capitol to meet him there again haha. After saying our second goodbyes Keelyn and I headed to Darling Harbour and I said my goodbyes to her and headed home with my dad.
It was a lovely day all in all.
